Into the unknown
先日、英誌エコノミストが「未知の領域に踏み込む日本：Into the unknown」と題した日本特集を掲載した。
少子高齢化が、日本経済の再活性化やデフレ脱却の大きな障害になっており(Japan is ageing faster than any country in history, with vast consequences for its economy and society.)
日本はこの問題に最優先で取り組む必要がある(This special report will argue that Japan must tackle this issue head on.)ーと警告している。
高齢化、少子化、失業、地方行政の財政破綻の典型例として「夕張市」を挙げ、「日本は既に”夕張”だらけ」(Japan is already full of Yubaris.)ーと指摘している。
